ID picture on the fly

So I just needed an ID picture, but my latest one is actually already quite dated. Having not the time nor patience to go to a photo studio, I decided to do a make-shift one. 😀 So armed with my phone camera and some Photoshop skills, I was able to produce a halfway decent ID picture:

makeshift ID

Not exactly photo studio quality, but it would serve for my intended purpose. 😉 My biggest problem was the corporate outfit, since I was in the office and had no way of getting even just a jacket for the picture. The solution was a quick search in Polyvore for a professional-looking blazer. The original was multi-colored, so I desaturated it and played around a bit with the contrast to make it look more professional. Whadaya think?

By the way I’m wearing just the TonyMoly Dear Me Petite Cotton BB Cream, some eyebrow pencil and Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Lipstick in Sheer Red. And OMG. The eyebags. 😮 Oh well.

    • It’s not really all that hard sis, truth be told. You just need to be patient with Photoshop. It would also help a lot if you have a halfway decent photo to begin with. 🙂

  2. You could give Photoline a run for their money with that!! And oh, a tip. If you guys don’t have Photoshop, try GIMP. It’s free to download and can do basic photo editing stuff. This is really cool Nat and I’ll be waiting for a tutorial. Uber pangit ko sa mga photo studio. They never seem to make me look pretty pero pag sa camera phone gandang ganda ako sa sarili ko hahaha

    • Awww, I wouldn’t go that far sis, I still have a ways to go before I reach professional level. But thanks. 😉 I have tried GIMP, but I must say I am not feeling the interface.

    • Some trial and errors din sis. 😉 I just like tinkering on Photoshop, good thing it comes handy during times like this. Not yet professional level in my opinion though, I still have a long way to go. I actually want to have my own photo studio as business. 🙂
